Technical Details

With a focus on quality and craftsmanship, all of our geodesic domes are built with precision and attention to detail. Premium quality, sustainably sourced materials are used throughout the process. With standard features such as automatic high level windows and ventilation your dome maintains its optimum environment.

Our Garden Domes are maintenance free and come with a 2 year guarantee and a life expectancy in excess of 25+ years

SIZES

Within the Dome Life range we offer domes from 4 meter diameter to 6.5 meter diameter. Dome sizes can be adjusted to your needs.

Examples of sizes with capacity are:

12 Sq meters / height of approx 3 m

6-8 persons seated

16 Sq meters / height of approx 3 m

10-12 persons seated

24 Sq meters / height of approx 3.2 m

12-16 persons seated

33 Sq meters / height of approx 3.8 m

18-20 persons seated

GLAZING, FRAMING AND FOUNDATION

Our domes can be glazed in a clear 4mm polycarbonate glazing which is over 200 times stronger than regular glass, making them extremely durable. The polycarbonate is UV stabilised and will remain clear.
Our domes can also be glazed in 4mm toughened glass which is about 5 times stronger than regular glass. The glass is crystal clear.

Our handmade frames are designed to be a single wooden superstructure that is both strong, long lasting and functional. We use different wood species depending on your requirements.

Different foundation options are available such as concrete pad foundations, ground spikes on a raised timber base or a trench foundation.Existing patios and decking are suitable locations for your dome.

Prices

All prices include VAT, delivery and installation. All Life range domes have 4 aluminium windows (2 high level and 2 low level) and a glazed hardwood door with lock included. Ground screws and foundations are optional extras. Optional raised timber floor is priced separately.

4 METER DIAMETER

4 m Diameter Dome provides 12 sq meters of space and has a height of approx 3 m. This size will accommodate 6-8 persons seated.

Covered in 4mm toughened glass:
€21,400 including VAT Delivery and installation on your prepared base/area.

4.5 METER DIAMETER

4.5 m Diameter Dome provides 16 sq meters of space and has a height of approx 3 m. This will accommodate 10-12 persons seated.

Covered in 4mm toughened glass:
€24,500 including VAT Delivery and installation on your prepared base/area

5.5 METER DIAMETER

5.5 m Diameter Dome provides 24 sq meters of space and has a height of approx 3.2 m. This will accommodate 12-16 persons seated.

6.5 METER DIAMETER

6.5 m Diameter Dome provides 33 sq meters of space and has a height of approx 3.8 m. This will accommodate 18-20 persons seated.
